Journalism and Ethics Panel Discussion

On March 14, 2024, the Conference on Government Ethics Laws, (COGEL) hosted a fascinating discussion on Journalism and Ethics. Executive Director Michael Murawski organized the panel discussion which features radio and TV newscaster Frank Cipolla, ethics attorney and former journalist Susannah Nesmith and Miami Herald journalist Joey Fletchas. Florida Bar Ethics Presentation

On April 25, 2024, Executive Director Michael Murawski made a presentation and served on a panel entitled "Everyday Ethics in the City Attorney's Office" as part of the City, County and Local Government Law Section of the Florida Bar. Mr. Murawski was joined by distinguished attorneys including the City Attorney for the City of Fernandina Beach, Tammi Bach, the County Attorney for Leon County, Chasity O'Steen, City of Naples City Attorney, Ralf Brookes, Nancy Stuparich from the Vose Law Firm and David N. Tolces from the Weiss, Serota, Helfman, Cole and Bierman Law Firm.


Government Ethics and Public Corruption

On March 30 and 31, 2023, the Naples Ethics Commission hosted an incredible conference on government ethics and public corruption along with the Collier County Sheriff's Office, the State Attorney's Office for the 20th Judicial Circuit and the Miami-Dade County and Palm Beach County Ethics Commissions.
